Who slapped Varun Tej

For a particular scene in ‘Kanche’, Pragya Jaiswal who is film’s lead lady has to slap Varun Tej and she got scared to do it. What could be the reason?

Actually, This sequence was shot in Tatipaka village in East Godavari district. Knowing that the shoot has been taking place here, A lot of locals have gathered at the shooting spot. When Pragya Jaiswal got ready to do the scene, People began shouting ‘don’t slap’ in Telugu and she couldn’t understand what they meant for a long time. Then Varun Tej explained to her that Mega Fans don’t want her to slap him and that scared the actress very much.

Pragya Jaiswal plays the role of a girl from Royal Family and she was so much involved in the making of ‘Kanche’ that she behaved like that in the real world too. There were times, Her Mother inquired with her if she is fine.

Not many knew, Pragya Jaiswal has auditioned for Bollywood film ‘Gabbar’ directed by Krish but missed it. The actress was so touched by Krish’s previous film ‘Vedam’ and she ended up crying during the climax. After ‘Gabbar’, Krish asked Pragya if she will act in ‘Kanche’ and that’s how everything has fallen in place.
