Struck Down CBI Cases Against ME

Senior IAS Officer Sri Lakshmi filed a petition in High Court asking it to struck down the cases filed by CBI in connection with Obulapuram Mining Company scam.

Claiming that she discharged her duties as per the directions of the government of erstwhile AP, Sri Lakshmi appealed the court to declare CBI’s investigation as one-sided and illegal in violation of provisions of the MMDR Act. Last but not least, The IAS urged High Court to pass orders granting compensation for the loss incurred to her in the past few years.

Sri Lakshmi was named as Accused No.6 by CBI in OMC case. She is under suspension since her arrest in the illegal
