Hyderabad based mobile manufacturer Celkon Mobiles unveiled ‘Millennium Vogue Q455′ priced at Rs 7,999, saying this is the slimmest smartphone in the country. The company also stated it is planning to come out with over half a dozen products in the ‘Millennium’ smartphone series in the next fortnight.
“We aim to sell 1 lakh handsets of this model in one month. Already, we have got 20,000 pre-bookings,” said Celkon Chairman and Managing Director Y Guru at the launch event. The pre-orders were received through test marketing in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and other major cities, Celkon said.
“We are coming up with more products in the Millennium series and plans to launch soon in the range of Rs 4,500 to Rs 12,000, We have launched the new Millennium Vogue Q455. Despite being the slimmest with 7.9 mm thickness amongst the Indian smartphone brands, it is packed with a 2000mAH battery. The Kit Kat-based Vogue comes with 1.2 GHz Quad Core CORTEX A7 processor,” Guru said.
This latest handset from Celkon was launched by Tennis star Sania Mirza in Hyderabad. The Kit Kat based Vogue comes with 1.2 GHz Quad Core CORTEX A7 processor. A dual SIM model, Millennium Vogue has 4.5 QHD Display with IPS /OGS. The phone has a 16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM providing faster processing and multi-application functions. The phone is enabled with 1.2GHz Quad Core processor, Kit Kat OS, 1.3 MP Front Camera and 8 MP Rear Camera with flash light. Vogue has WIFI /Bluetooth, GPS facilities, G sensor, P Sensor, light and Acceleration sensor.
