Lars Fosgaard Eller (born 8 May 1989) is a Danish professional ice hockey player who serves as a centre for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nicknamed “the Tiger”, Eller was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round, 13th overall, in the 2007 NHL entry draft. He became the first player born in Denmark to win the Stanley Cup in 2018 with the Washington Capitals, scoring the championship-winning goal. Lars Eller was born on 8 May 1989 in Rødovre, Denmark, a suburb of Copenhagen.
