Professional Career
Minor League Development
Soriano signed with the Miami Marlins as an international free agent on August 19, 2015. He made his professional debut in 2016 with the Dominican Summer League Marlins. He missed the entire 2017 season due to injury but returned in 2018 with the Gulf Coast Marlins, where he posted a 1.91 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 42 innings across 11 appearances. In 2019 with the Single-A Clinton LumberKings, he made 23 appearances with a 4-7 record and 3.91 ERA alongside 99 strikeouts in nearly 120 innings pitched.
The 2020 minor league season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, preventing Soriano from playing. He returned to action in 2021 with the Single-A Jupiter Hammerheads and High-A Beloit Snappers, combining for 18 starts with a 3.43 ERA and 114 strikeouts in 89 innings. Soriano split the 2022 season between the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. In 40 appearances, he recorded a 2.72 ERA with 85 strikeouts and eight saves in 76 innings. On November 15, 2022, the Marlins added Soriano to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.
Miami Marlins
Soriano was recalled and promoted to the major leagues on April 10, 2023, after J. T. Chargois was placed on the injured list. He appeared in 26 games during his rookie campaign, recording a 3.81 ERA with 52 strikeouts and one save over 52 innings. In 2024, he appeared in 22 games for the Marlins, compiling a 1-1 record and 6.75 ERA with 29 strikeouts and one save across 29 innings. The Atlanta Braves claimed him on January 9, 2026, but designated him for assignment shortly after acquiring José Suárez. The Washington Nationals claimed Soriano on January 30, 2026, only to designate him for assignment on February 5. Other Highlights

That performance highlighted his ability to deliver in high-pressure situations. His minor league career has featured consistent strikeout numbers, with his best full season coming in 2019 when he recorded 99 strikeouts in Single-A.
2025 Season Performance
The 2025 season represented a year of adjustment and opportunity for Soriano. He spent most of the campaign shuttling between Triple-A Jacksonville and the Marlins. His time in Triple-A proved highly successful as he posted a 4-1 record with a 2.32 ERA in 29 appearances while recording two saves. His major league performance with Miami showed inconsistencies as he struggled to an 8.35 ERA in 24 relief appearances, suggesting he needed more development time in the minors. The no-hitter performance on June 27 demonstrated his potential when operating at his best. The season ended with Soriano going through waivers multiple times before landing with the Cardinals organization through the February 2026 trade.
