Coleridge Bernard “C.J.” Stroud IV (born October 3, 2001) is an American professional football quarterback for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). Selected second overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, Stroud earned NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors after leading the Texans to an AFC South division title and a playoff victory in his debut season. He previously played college football at Ohio State University, where he set multiple school records and finished as a Heisman Trophy finalist in both 2021 and 2022.
