Brandon Malik Parker (born October 21, 1995) is an American professional football offensive tackle who currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). Brandon Malik Parker was born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, to George Curtis Parker III and his wife Regina. Both of his parents possessed notable athletic backgrounds. His father was an All-ACC offensive lineman for the University of North Carolina, while his mother was a prep basketball star at Carver High School who later played for North Carolina. This athletic lineage provided Brandon with a natural foundation for his future football career.
Parker attended A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He started two of the three years he played varsity football for the Wonders. During his senior year, Parker led the team to an 8-4 record. Throughout his high school career, the Wonders averaged 287 yards rushing per game and completed 62.4 percent of its passes. Despite his success, Parker described himself as a much slimmer prospect coming out of high school with limited recruiting interest due to his frame and a lack of film from his junior year.
Path to Professional Football
Parker received limited scholarship offers coming out of high school, with Division II Winston-Salem State, FCS North Carolina A&T, and North Carolina Central offering full scholarships. He also received a partial scholarship from his father’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina, and preferred walk-on spots from Appalachian State, Charlotte, and Duke. Parker ultimately chose to sign with North Carolina A&T as one of 22 signees recruited under Head Coach Rod Broadway.
After redshirting during the 2013 season, Parker was projected to be second on the Aggies depth chart at left tackle behind William Robinson in 2014. As a sophomore in 2015, he started all 12 games and averaged 4 pancake blocks per game while never surrendering a sack from his left tackle position. He finished the season with only 2 penalties called against him, helping the Aggies rank second in the MEAC in offense. He was named MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Year, becoming the second player in program history to win the award.
In 2016, Parker again started all 12 games and earned MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week five times. He was involved in 779 gradable plays, recording 48 total knockdowns with an average grade of 87 percent. He graded out higher than 90 percent on five occasions, helping A&T rank first in total offense and rushing offense and third in passing offense in the MEAC. He earned first-team All-MEAC honors, his second consecutive conference Offensive Lineman of the Year award, and was named FCS second-team All-American by the Associated Press.
As a senior in 2017, Parker started all 12 games at left tackle and did not allow a single sack throughout his entire collegiate career. He was re-signed to the Falcons practice squad the following day but was released from the practice squad on September 2.
On September 17, 2025, Parker signed with the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad. He signed a reserve/future contract with San Francisco on January 20, 2026, securing his place on the roster for the 2026 season.
