Brandon Marcus Lockridge (born March 14, 1997) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Pensacola, Florida native has previously played in MLB for the San Diego Padres. Lockridge was selected by the New York Yankees in the fifth round of the 2018 MLB Draft and developed through their minor league system before reaching the majors in 2024.
Early Life and Background
Lockridge was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. He attended Pensacola Catholic High School, where he developed as a baseball player. His performance in high school earned him an opportunity to continue his baseball career at the collegiate level.

He hit 12 home runs, drove in 56 runs, and stole 22 bases across 121 games.
The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and Lockridge did not play in any games. San Diego Padres (2024–2025)
On July 30, 2024, the Yankees traded Lockridge to the San Diego Padres in exchange for Enyel De Los Santos and Thomas Balboni Jr. The Padres added Lockridge to their 40-man roster and optioned him to the Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas on September 1 before promoting him to the major leagues on September 11, 2024, for his MLB debut.
Lockridge made the Padres Opening Day roster for the 2025 season. In 47 appearances for San Diego during the 2025 season, he batted .216/.258/.261 with five RBI and eight stolen bases before being traded again.
