Edrice Femi Bam Adebayo is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being selected by the Heat with the 14th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Adebayo is a three-time NBA All-Star, a five-time NBA All-Defensive Team honoree, and he helped the Heat reach the NBA Finals in 2020 and 2023. College Career (2016–2017)

Adebayo played one season for the Kentucky Wildcats in 2016-17. In 38 games, he averaged 13.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. He helped lead Kentucky to the SEC Championship, recording nine rebounds in the championship game against Arkansas. In the NCAA Tournament, Adebayo was instrumental in Kentucky’s run to the Elite Eight, recording 18 rebounds against Northern Kentucky in the first round.
