Few miscreants who have come on a 2-wheeler threw a petrol bomb at Chennai’s Andhra Bank branch in the early hours of Friday. As per the eyewitness, They fled the spot soon after hurling the bomb. No casualties have been reported.
Cops registered a case and conducting the investigation. They suspect there could be some connection between the encounter at Seshachalam forest which claimed the lives of 20 wood-cutters and Today’s attack on the Andhra Bank.
Similar incidents were reported in the recent past well. Stoned were pelted at three Andhra Bank branches in Tamil Nadu on April 10th this year in protest against the encounter. Political Parties have led widespread protests against AP Government for gunning down the innocent woodcutters.
