The opening song of Pawan Kalyan in Katamarayudu has a big canvas featuring as many as 300 dancers, 100 Sardarjis, 100 pehelwans. This is not all. The elaborately shot song also features school kids and old people who are very close to Pawan’s heart. Obviously, Pawan had a great time while shooting for school kids and old people.
Pawan, who is a real nature lover and a farmer by himself, is seen holding farmer’s plow in the song. The song was shot over six days and it’s shot at a village called Anjapur in the outskirts of Hyderabad. Since Kalyan is a big nature lover, the song is shot amidst nature and trees.
The entire span of the song was so big that cinematographer Prasad Murella (also worked for Attarintiki Daredi) had to use drone cameras to get the aerial footage.
Pawan made sure that he wore Khadi and in the whole song and maximum part of the film (except romantic songs shot in Italy), Pawan would be seen wearing Khadi. In Italy, two songs were shot on Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan. While one was shot in the vicinity of a castle, the other was shot in hills with streams flowing in the backdrop.
Italy locations are going to be pleasant and the romantic songs shot over there is eye candy. Cinematographer Prasad assures that Katamarayudu is going to be a visual treat.
