TeluguabroadAP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu accepted the proposal one nation simultaneous one election proposal made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM came with the proposal at the NITI Ayog meet and it sparked off a debate across various circles.
After PM’s proposal CM even reportedly asked the party leaders to get prepared for snap polls. But son and IT and Panchayath Raj Minister Lokesh is in no supporting to the idea of one nation one election. He said that no state will like the idea and even said that it could help the party in the center but regional parties and states may feel it as a waste!
However, Lokesh said he is ready to shoulder the responsibility of spearheading TDP into the municipal elections if the party asks for. But TDP circles are weary as the man who helmed the GHMC elections had seen a rout of the party there!
