Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K.T. Rama Rao on Monday conceded that the city streets were in terrible condition.
In the wake of leading an assessment, he gave the case of Sri Nagar Colony, Gajula Ramarao to Hitec City and Shapur as having terrible streets.
Regardless of the GHMC expressing that there were 200 waterlogging focuses in Hyderabad, very nearly six times that number, 1100, have been recognized.

The clergyman was disappointed with street conditions at Sri Nagar Colony, Yousufguda, Gajularamaram, Quthbullapur and Shapur. He asked state government organizations like GHMC, HMWS&SB, Transco and HMDA to request temporary workers to erect loads up at work destinations showing consent without a doubt, time to be taken for the work and nature of work alongside the contact number of the concerned contractual worker.
On June 16 a workshop will be held wherein the rules for street repairs and upkeep will be examined. About unapproved structures, Mr Rao said, “The administration won’t extra anyone taking up unapproved developments; those structures will be decimated and criminal cases will be reserved.”
