India cricketer opener KL Rahul has told that chances of playing in the next ICC Champions Trophy in June are very less because of the shoulder injury he suffered during the four-match Test series against Australia.
Rahul, who is not playing in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to the pain, had sustained the injury in the opening Test in Pune, but played through pain in the remaining matches, playing a key role in India’s 2-1 win.
“I will just have to wait and see but the chances are very, very slim,” he said.
Almost it will take 2 to 3 months to recover from injury…
I am taking rest…doing nothing in these days..he said.
The Champions Trophy starts in England from June 1.
