TeluguabroadAfter Lokesh’s Mission-100 for GHMC, now the ruling TRS party came out with its mission to win all (150) seats in the company of MIM. This is for the first time that the TRS calculated its combined strength with MIM. Though there has been an undeclared alliance between the two parties, ever since the 2014 elections, there has been no formal announcement of the alliance between the two parties yet, even for the forthcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections. Alliance will be a post-poll matter. It’s KCR’s two-pronged strategy. Though the party is sure of winning 85 seats, it’s secret goal is to win 100 seats and keep the MIM at bay. The party thinks that in the absence of TDP’s Seemandhra rhetoric, Seeemandhra’s would have no choice but to go by the new mantra of KCR that Seemandhras are part of Hyderabad and Telangana.
The chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is said to have revealed his strategy for the GHMC polls in a meeting with senior leaders and asked them to work to realize it without any murmur. ” My surveys show that TRS is going to win 80 t0 85 seats. It will not be difficult to touch the magic figure of 100, if party campaign is based on the development and the development alone should be talked in the campaign,” he is said to have told the meeting hinting that no T sentiment and Seemandhra hostility should be talked.
However, a decision has reportedly been taken in favor going with MIM in Hyderabad in the yesterday’s meeting. Given the present hype created in the past one month ever since the party won the Warangal Lok Sabha bypoll, Council elections, Ayuta Chandiyagam, 2BHK housing program, Godavari water to Hyderabad, Cutting the property tax of those residents of Hyderabad who are paying now Rs 1200 to Rs 101 etc, the party is confident of winning 80 to 85 seats. The party will field candidates for more than 100 divisions out of 150.
According to sources Rao prediction was based on surveys he got conducted. Mayor post will shared between the two parties and the first turn goes to the party that wins more seats than the other. In the meeting, Rao told that party campaign will start from January 6, officially.
Rao reportedly emphatically told the leaders that it would not be difficult for the party too touch the magic figure of 100 if they worked hard. In other words, according to party sources, if Seemandhras are convinced that KCR is a changed man and TRS is new incarnation now, the party would cross the 100 mark. Then there won’t be any need for a tie-up with MIM. The unseen objective is to win over the hearts of Seemandhra People.
