The entire district of Kadapa has announced an intensive Bandh today opposing the capital allotment in Andhra region. The people of the district are strictly demanding the government to build the capital in Rayalaseema and now they’ve started this agitation as the Chandra Babu Naidu is set to announce the capital today.
RSU called for the Bandh in which colleges, institutes, shops and vehicle holders voluntarily joined hands for expressing their objection over the capital. All RTC buses stalled in the depots due to the severity of the Bandh. The Kadapa people are emphasizing that they had been cheated many times since the 1953 and it was time at least to bring a capital to their region. The people of Kadapa district wishes to wait until the complete announcement of the capital and later increase their agitation to a larger extent.
