We Don’t Want These Channels in Our State – KCR
IT minister KTR earlier emphasized that they had no role in banning the channels ABN and TV9 in Telangana, now Chief Minister of Telangana KCR himself made a contradictory statement sharply hinting at the government’s behind-scene-direction when it comes to the banning of these prime channels in the state.
As the agitation of journalists has grown stronger since the morning, finally KCR spoke on this issue when he was participating in the centenary birth anniversary of ‘Kaloji Narayana Rao’. ‘Should we excuse the words triggered by rotten toddy-drinkers. We’ll bury them deep down 10 kilometers’ he said aggressively.
He further said “If they want to be on our land, they must salute our land. We don’t want those channels that demean the state Telangana”. He revealed that all the legislators made a unanimous resolution on the channels and it was presently in the speaker’s scope. The CM also indirectly suggested the native employees who are working in these prominent TV channels
