TeluguabroadRivalry between TRS and TDP reached at another level as the TRS workers painted TDP flag posts the Telangana party’s official colour ‘pink’ in some parts of the city inviting a wrath from the opposition party. In a strong reaction, TDP working President A Revanth Reddy pledged to paint all TRS flag posts into his party colour ‘yellow’.
While participating in a dharna at a colony in Hyderabad, Revanth and other TDP leaders noticed many TDP flag posts have been painted pink. The TDP leaders shocked and complained police for defacing the TDP flags. Alerted TRS leaders immediately rushed to the area and shouted slogans against TDP for staging dhrana in their area.
Before the arrest of TDP leaders, Revanth said he would launch a drive to paint yellow all the TRS flags if the ruling party did not give up such political activity against Telugu Desam. He warned that TDP would also fight against TRS if the roads damaged in the recent heavy rains are not repaired in a week time. Revanth ridiculed Municipal Administration minister KT Rama Rao for the latter’s failure in solving the the plights of Hyderabad people in the rainy season.
