Cambridge gets world’s first glow in the dark path!!! A British Company has developed a glow in the dark path surface which is claimed to be a world first and is currently trialing it at a park in Cambridge. According to the company, the illumination comes from ultraviolet particles in the pavement in the form of paint which absorb energy during the day light and release it as light overnight.
The company claims that technology could one day replace streetlamps as a cheaper and more energy efficient form of lighting it means no street lights are required. So, in future we can expect this kind of roads in other part of UK too. Watch the video to see the lighting path looks like…
