Carl Filip Anton Forsberg is a Swedish professional ice hockey player and alternate captain for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on August 13, 1994, Forsberg was drafted 11th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft but was traded to the Predators before playing for the Capitals. He has represented Sweden internationally, earning five silver medals and two gold medals.

Filip Forsberg was born in Östervåla, Sweden, to Carina Dahlberg and Patrik Forsberg. He is known by his middle name, Filip, and has a younger brother, Fredrik, who also plays hockey. Despite sharing the surname, the Forsberg brothers are not related to Hockey Hall of Famer Peter Forsberg or other notable hockey players with the same last name. Outside of hockey, Forsberg is a fan of Liverpool FC and co-owns the Nashville SC soccer team as well as a female Italian racehorse named Trilly of Nando.
