Alexander Augustus Lyon (born December 9, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Baudette, Minnesota native has built a reputation as a reliable netminder who has contributed to playoff runs with multiple organizations throughout his professional career. Lyon played collegiate hockey for the Yale Bulldogs before beginning his professional journey in 2016.
