David John Peterson Bio
David John Peterson (born September 3, 1995) is an American professional baseball player and a Major League pitcher. Peterson made his MLB debut in 2020 with the New York Mets and earned his first All-Star selection in 2025.
Early Life and Background
David John Peterson was raised by his parents Shannon and Doug Peterson. His father worked as a horse trainer and Peterson spent much of his childhood around stables; his parents divorced when he was young and his father later died from an accidental drug overdose.
