After being drafted, he began his professional career in the Braves organization, playing for the rookie-level Florida Complex League Braves and the Danville Braves, as well as the High-A Florida Fire Frogs. In 52 total games during the 2018 season, Alexander impressed with a batting average of .352, compiling 69 hits, 27 runs batted in, and four stolen bases.
Alexander began the 2019 season with the Florida Fire Frogs before earning a promotion to Atlanta’s Double-A affiliate, the Mississippi Braves.
